Travelling overnight from Budapest to Switzerland takes 12 hours. I spent the first half of the trip reading in a seated cabin. For the second half I reserved a couchette.
Budapest to Krakow

From Budapest I travel to Vienna, from there I plan to catch the night train to Krakow in Poland. I have to find out how much a supplement costs to reserve a bed.
Prague returning to Budapest

From Prague I headed back to Budapest. I had to get an additional ticket because my Eurail pass is not valid in the Czech Republic. I had not realized that we would be crossing the Slovakian border as well…
