Train Tips: The X2000 is Sweden’s fast train, and connects Copenhagen with Stockholm every other hour. Seat reservations are necessary, and cost 150 Swedish Krona (15 Euros) for 1st class, and 65 Swedish Kronas (6.50 Euros) for 2nd class. Berlin – Hamburg – Copenhagen

The ride north of Hamburg into Denmark is beautiful: passing bays, wheat fields, cows and horses. This ICE train never achieves top speeds like other ICE trains, so it’s a leisurely journey through the countryside. Read more
