Copenhagen – Stockholm

Train TipTrain Tips:
The X2000 is Sweden’s fast train, and connects Copenhagen with Stockholm every other hour. Seat reservations are necessary, and cost 150 Swedish Krona (15 Euros) for 1st class, and 65 Swedish Kronas (6.50 Euros) for 2nd class. Note that Denmark and Sweden don’t use the Euro, but you can use Euros at the train stations to pay for seat reservations. Just expect your change back in the local currency.

Should the direct train from Copenhagen to Stockholm be booked, there is an additional X2000 train that leaves each alternating hour from Malmo, Sweden to Stockholm. Malmo is just a short 30 minute train ride from Copenhagen over the Swedish border on a regional train.
