Hello Kathleen -- Hmm, what time of year will you go? There are good beaches surrounding Nice, but Bordeaux is closer and easier to travel to from Paris. But both are good cities. Have fun whichever you choose! Benjamin.

I have a question...I only have 15 days to spend on holiday and would like to fly into Paris but also explore the countryside. Nice or Bordeaux? Anyone wish to throw out suggestions? If you had to pick one place which do you think it should be? Go to Bordeaux or Nice.

Thank you.

Hi Connie - It is probably easiest to go to the Milan train station as soon as you are able to and buy the overnight seat or bed reservation. Or you can buy it now from a different Italian train station, if you are not in Milan. Have fun! Benjamin.

That sounds wonderful! I plan on doing the same thing with my Eurail pass, and I'll be coming from Milan, then to Nice. Can I make my reservation online or at the station?
