In Innsbruck

The 15th-century Golden Roof is the meeting point in Innsbruck each day at 5pm during the Christmas Market season. A brass band heralds the start of each evening from the building’s balcony, as people gather at one of the four small markets nearby.

Along with the traditional Glühwein, there are also Kiachlins to be tasted – hot doughnuts with sauerkraut or jam.
