Freiburg to Strasbourg

Train to StrasbourgStrasbourg is an easy hour-plus trip from Freiburg.

First I took an IC train to Offenburg, and then changed to a smaller local train that regularly crosses between Germany and France.

Many locals were on the train, so I presume some families must have been divided as this border moved through the centuries. It was funny hearing the distinctive French train jingle again as I crossed over into France.
